Schedule that Photoshoot

Now is the time to schedule that photoshoot. One day, looking back, this might be all that someone has to look back at the past. The way it was then. A tangible image that they can look at when needed.

Have you ever in your gone to your grandmas house and found old photos? I’ve spent hours in my lifetime looking at old photos at my husband's grandmother's houses, at my mom's heavy photo album with the plastic covers that click as you turn the pages, at my baby book that has weathered fabric covers. Some of the photos were before my time but I love to see my family members as they were at that time, in their youth.

I’ve recently gone through my own phase of not wanting to be in front of the camera because of how I feel that I look. I have so much regret from hiding from pictures because my son won’t have as many photos of his mother with him as a baby as I would have liked. He won’t care that my hair was styled perfectly, that my makeup was done, or that I was the ideal weight. He will just want to see a photo of his mother. To remember. It’s amazing the flood of memories that come back from seeing a single image. It's as if an image can help your mind time travel back to that time.

This is what I want to give my clients. Photos that they can look back on 20 years from now and remember this time in their life. To see their kids faces at a young age. The freckles and bright eyes, the innocence of that time.

Don’t hide from the camera. This part of your life is as important as any. And that’s where I come in. To capture the beauty in each and every one of my amazing clients. Let your photographer show you how beautiful they see you. Let them tell your story. To show the love your family has for each other. To capture these moments as they are.

Let me tell your beautiful story. It's worth telling.
