Shannon and Ace’s engagement session at San Francisco City Hall felt so timeless. The kind of session that just flows naturally and doesn’t try too hard, it just is.
From the moment they arrived, everything felt easy. Shannon wore the most beautiful white dress, classic and effortless, with just enough movement to catch the light as she walked through the halls. Ace met her perfectly in a tailored suit that felt refined but still completely him. Nothing felt overdone, just really intentional and true to who they are.
There were also these quiet little details woven throughout, like their Rolex watches catching the light in between moments. Not in a loud way, but in a way that felt meaningful as Shannon's was her moms vintage Rolex. A subtle nod to time, to what they’ve built, and everything that’s ahead of them.
San Francisco City Hall always has this sense of grandeur to it, but with them it felt softer. More intimate. The way they looked at each other, the way they naturally moved together, it didn’t need much from me. Just a little guidance and space for them to settle into it.
We leaned into that energy the whole time. Letting the architecture frame them, letting the light do its thing, and focusing on those in between moments that say the most. The end result feels both elevated and emotional, something that will hold its meaning years from now.
These are the sessions I love most. When everything aligns in a really effortless way and it becomes more about the feeling than anything else.
Shannon and Ace, your love is so steady and easy in the best way. I already know this is just the beginning of something really special and I can't wait to capture your big day 🤍
