Magical + Intimate Elopement
Ashley + Ryan's intimate elopement was the most special elopement of me to capture as it was my brother and sister in laws ceremony. When they asked me to be their photographer for their special day I was touch beyond words. It is such an honor to be invited in to clients most special moments and to capture my little brothers day was one I will never forget.
The day began at Muir Beach Overlook, where 12 family members gathered amidst the soft embrace of fog, creating an ethereal backdrop for a heartfelt ceremony. Ryan + Ashley decided to have their first look at the end of a large, windy staircase that hovers over the ocean, surrounded in cloud cover. Their first looks was the perfect beginning of the day.
Shortly after Ryan + Ashley made their way to the ceremony site surrounded in eucalyptus trees, overlooking the ocean. As vows were exchanged, the fog enveloped them, bestowing a sense of enchantment and intimacy upon their union. Against the backdrop of nature's embrace, Ashley and Ryan sealed their love in a ceremony steeped in magic and serenity.
Captured through the lens, the love shared between the couple mirrored the serene landscapes, creating imagery that spoke volumes of their deep connection. Following the intimate ceremony, the lens captured the couple's joy and affection as they ventured toward the Golden Gate Bridge, embracing the ethereal hues of the sunset. Against the iconic backdrop, the sun painted the sky with hues of gold, weaving a tapestry of warmth around the newlyweds, while the lens preserved their love in timeless sunset photographs. They laughed and had such fun reveling in their first moments as a married couple.
Ashley and Ryan's day continued to The Spinnaker restaurant in Sausalito, where an intimate reception awaited them. There was captured the laughter, shared stories, and heartfelt toasts, each frame narrating a chapter of their perfect day.
