There are weddings that are beautiful… and then there are weddings that you feel in your bones. Alexandra and Kyle’s September Wedding at Montage Healdsburg was one of those rare, soul-stirring days where every moment seemed to glow a little brighter.
Set among rolling vineyards, golden light, and the quiet luxury that Montage is known for, their wedding unfolded with a kind of effortless romance—equal parts timeless, modern, and deeply intimate.
Alexandra got ready in one of Montage’s serene bungalow suites, surrounded by soft light, champagne, and the sweetest group of women who adored her. Her gown—a beautifully structured yet delicately romantic piece—hung quietly in the corner, waiting for its moment.
The air felt still in that magical pre-ceremony way… the hush before a new chapter begins. Alexandra slipped into her dress, and instantly the room melted into happy tears. She was elegance, grace, and pure joy.
Meanwhile, Kyle and his groomsmen spent the morning laughing in that easy, grounded way that makes you instantly understand why everyone loves him. His love for Alexandra was written all over his face long before he saw her.
One of my favorite moments was their first look nestled within Montage’s signature vineyards. It felt private, sacred—just the two of them, wrapped in the beautiful vines.
Before the wedding, both Alexandra and Kyle had shared with me that they never feel fully comfortable in front of a camera. They were nervous about posing, stiff smiles, and anything that didn’t feel natural to who they are.
But the moment they saw each other, something shifted. Their shoulders dropped, their expressions softened, and they fell completely into the moment. Afterward, they both told me how genuinely comfortable and at ease they felt—how the experience didn’t feel like being photographed, but simply being together. Those are the moments I live for.
Their ceremony overlooked the sprawling trees as the sun dipped into the softest golden haze. Guests sat among rows of warm September light, the hills glowing behind Alexandra and Kyle as they exchanged vows that had everyone smiling through their tears.

As night fell, the celebration came alive. Alexandra and Kyle shared their first dance under a canopy of bistro lights, surrounded by the people who love them most. And once the dance floor opened… it never emptied.
Laughter, champagne toasts, wild joy—it was everything a wedding under the Sonoma sky should be.
